Our values

This is important to us

At GEC, we live by clear values that shape our actions and our relationships. At the center is Jesus Christ, whose love and grace transform our lives. Every person is important and valuable to us, and we live out our faith in practical ways. These values are reflected in everything we do as a Christian church in Heilbronn—in our weekly worship services, our small groups, the Alpha Course, Worship Nights, and our involvement in the city.

They form the five pillars of our church life: service, worship, discipleship, fellowship, and outreach.

We believe in the one eternal God of the Bible, who reveals himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. At the centre is Jesus Christ – his atoning sacrifice on the cross, his resurrection and his return. The Bible is for us the Holy Scripture inspired by God’s Spirit and our guide for faith and life. We believe that the Holy Spirit creates new life through rebirth and equips believers for service through his presence and gifts.
