The GEC Heilbronn offers senior citizens over 60 a lively community. The focus here is on faith, sharing and joy. Find a place of security where you can be active with like-minded people.

Treff ab 60 is more than just an offer - it is a warm community that supports and encourages. We believe in the importance of relationships at any age and create a safe space where you can talk, laugh and just be yourself. Here you will find open ears and new friends.
Diverse support for your phase of life
GEC Heilbronn attaches great importance to comprehensive work with senior citizens. With around 160 members over the age of 60, we have created a wide range of offers to accompany and enrich you in your phase of life.
Community & Living faith
On the fourth Thursday of every month, we invite you to the 60+ meeting. We begin with a special time of praise and worship, followed by a cozy get-together with coffee and cake. Afterwards, we are strengthened by a talk or a sermon. This afternoon together usually lasts 2 hours. We also warmly invite younger members of the congregation and other interested parties to join us for certain topics.
Comfortable on the road
We offer a reliable transport service to our events so that nobody has to miss the community. Three regular drivers personally take care of picking you up and bringing you home again. You can request this service not only for the "Treff ab 60", but also for Sunday services and other church events.
We are here for you
As not all members are able to attend our face-to-face meetings due to physical disabilities, our senior citizens' work offers a caring visiting service. Three teams of two people are available to maintain contact with the congregation and conduct personal conversations. Visits to the sick at home or in hospital are carried out directly by our pastor. We are also happy to pay a visit on birthdays.
Celebrate together
At different times of the year, we organize special celebrations that strengthen joy and community. These include atmospheric summer parties, contemplative Advent evenings and cheerful New Year's Eve celebrations. These events are planned by a dedicated team and take place on the premises of GEC Heilbronn so that everyone can participate comfortably.
Discover together
Since this year, we have been organizing regular half-day excursions that are easily manageable for all older participants. These trips offer a wonderful opportunity to explore the surrounding area, get some fresh air and enjoy the community outside the church. This area will be expanded in the coming years, with the aim of also offering longer excursions or even camps for this age group.
